Your private Northern Lights tour begins at our designated pick-up point in Tromsø, where we’ll welcome you warmly. After a short introduction, we leave the city lights behind and head into the Arctic wilderness. Chasing the Northern Lights

Because every night is different, we adapt our route based on weather, cloud cover, and solar activity. Typically, the drive to the best viewing location takes between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass breathtaking Arctic landscapes under a starlit sky, far from any city lights. In addition, your guide will share local insights about the Arctic nature and traditions.

Aurora Viewing Experience

Once we find the perfect spot, we create a cozy base. In the meantime, we build a warm campfire to keep everyone comfortable, and thermal suits and boots are provided for extra warmth. As the evening unfolds, you can relax by the fire, sip on hot drinks, and enjoy hearty Arctic snacks while waiting for the magical auroras to appear.

Photography and Memories

Throughout the night, your guide will capture professional photos of you beneath the Northern Lights. If you bring your own camera, we’ll gladly help you adjust the settings for optimal aurora photography. Furthermore, tripods are available free of charge to make it even easier to snap unforgettable shots.

Return to Tromsø
